How to find a good web host
Written by Malin on March 26th, 2008 -If you currently have your blog or site at one of those free blog providers I think you would love to have your blog or site on your own place. Not only will it be good for traffic and potential customers it will also give you inspiration and freedom to do exactly as you like without any restrictions when it comes to design or functionality.
When you are choosing a web host you have to be careful with which company to choose. The best is to do some research before you decide which one to go with. You don’t want to end up with a company that has more downtime than uptime. You should also be guaranteed that you can get the help you need when you bump in to problems as well. Companies with good customer service is something you should look for.
Kaushal Sheth has made a little list with the best web hosting companies he found while searching.

Preparing for WordPress 2.5
Written by Malin on March 10th, 2008 -
WordPress version 2.5 is said to be released today, there are a few hours left, but I still haven’t seen anything. I think it will be delayed though.
Anyway, it is time to prepare for the update! As we all know by know, the new version might not work with all plugins or themes.
Lorelle VanFossen has written a really nice WordPress Upgrade Preparation Checklist. If you are not sure where to start, the list will be valuable to you!
The list includes steps like checking compatibilities, doing a PreFlight test, disable and/or remove old plugins and the most important step of all - BACKUP!

SnapBomb
Written by Malin on February 24th, 2008 -If you are interested in making money online then you should continue reading this post! There is a new paid to blog and paid to review website out called SnapBomb.
What is SnapBomb?
It is a website that both advertisers and bloggers can benefit from. Advertisers can use blog marketing to get the buzz out about their products and services and be sure that they get what they pay for. Bloggers can easily write quality posts for cash and they have the freedom to write what they want within the advertisers guidelines in the opportunity.

What is so special with SnapBomb?
Unlike other similar websites SnapBomb doesn’t rank the blogs according to page rank which can be a huge relief for those who got slapped by Google. The value of the blog is calculated by it’s popularity, expertise in a field, and their audience size and reach.
How you can make money!
All you have to do is to sign up and add you blog, which is free, and then wait for it to be evaluated. The evaluation only takes a few seconds and then you are ready to go to the opportunity list and choose those that suits your blog the best! Remember that you have to make at least $25 before you get paid and that it takes 60 days from the day you got the opportunity accepted to get the cash.
Let’s see how this will work out. I’m quite excited about it! :D

Written by Malin on February 12th, 2008 -Hello EntreCard users!
Here is a little secret that can help you to reciprocate all drops on EntreCard!
The Secret
When you are in your Dashboard on EntreCard, look at upper right portion of the page. Where the little RSS icon is. Highlight the whole page by pressing CTRL+A (or mark everything with your mouse). Now you will see a little tiny dot right below the RSS icon (see image).
Click on the dot and you will then be directed to a whole page full of banners from the last 98 persons that dropped their card on your blog. So this can also be a great tool to reciprocate all your visitors drops on you.
Ben also wrote a tutorial on another way on How to reciprocate all drops on Entrecard with Firefox.
This is not going to stay a secret for very long though ;)
