Why would you buy fake gold for real money? Actually, I can totally understand doing that, considering an epic flying mount costs 5200g by the time you add the training and the mount. And it normally takes a person waaay too long to get that much gold together, and it’s much easier to plunk down some real cash now to make the game that much easier.

But, please remember that buying gold is risky. If Blizzard catches you, they can ban your account.

Personally, I’ve been collecting strategies for making gold within the game legally for a while, and putting them together at http://www.makewowgold.com. All my wow friends give me grief because I always have tons of gold…it sure does make the game easier. But I like the game too much to risk being banned.

Beyond that, other merchandise is cool. I actually have an AFK bumper sticker on my truck. WoW-ers know exactly what it means when they see it. :)
