Blogrush wasn’t worth it!
Written by Malin on October 7, 2007 – 1:51 pm -I have checked several sites reports on how it went with Blogrush, and they all have one thing in common; it wasn’t wort it!
It didn’t generate that many visitors as promised, like a few of us already knew before. So a lesson to learn is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
Thank goodness I didn’t try it out!
There is another hype out there about Widgetbucks, it seems a lot better than AuctionAds (that I removed from my other site, I didn’t earn a cent). Has it worked for you?

I’m giving blogrush one last chance, to see if the changes they are currently making improve things at all.
I’m not sure what went wrong with auctionads, but up until about 6-8 weeks ago it was doing ok for me, but since then, I haven’t made a cent either. That’s the reason I’m having a look at widgetbucks at the moment, that, and the $25 bonus signup incentive thing they are offering.

Ah, but did you hear about the hidden links in Widgetbucks?
Blogrush is alright, sure I haven’t had a ton of visitors, but it’s free, and I’ve found some interesting blogs through the widget.

@swollenpickles: Yeah, since the payout is 50 bucks, those 25 bonus bucks is nothing.

I was skeptical of blogrush also, the number one reason I didn’t try it is because I value my screen real estate and I don’t like putting unnecessary widgets and doo-dads there, even if they might bring in traffic. I think alot of buttons, badges, and widgets serve moreso as toys for you and other bloggers more than they help your readers so I try to steer clear generally.
I’ve heard nothing but bad reviews on blogrush so I’m glad I stayed away.
