Those small icons you can see in the sidebar are called AdIcons.
Here are some reasons why you should buy a spot yourself:
1) The AdIcon-Space attracts the user’s attention with its colorful layout and is far-off from the “banner-blindness†factor.
2) The AdIcon curbs the curiosity of the user: There’s something going on there and the user wants to know what. So the user mouse-overs the AdIcon.
3) A statistically significant portion of the users click multiple AdIcons in one go and check all of them. So the CTR is high even the space looks cluttered.

Right now it’s $1 per month and per adicon.
Other types of advertising
If you’re not interested in the AdIcons, we can agree of another advertising type. A small banner or button, a review post ala PayPerPost, or maybe even a text link? Everything is possible! I’m not impossible with the prices, so just contact me and we can make a good deal :)
